When you are buying a home whether it is yur first home or your retirement home, it can be a time of many questions, concerns, and emotions.
Karen has been accredited by the National Assoc. of Realtors to be a Buyers Representative. What that means is that she represents YOU the BUYER. Historically, an agent has represented a Seller, but a number of years ago, Buyer Representation came to be. Now you can have someone on YOUR side in the process.
Before Karen shows you properties, she wants to make sure that you have met with a mortgage consultant and started your loan process. In the market we are experiencing today, it is very important to have your loan in process so that when you find your dream house, you are able to write a competitive offer. It is not unusual today to see multiple contracts presented on a single property and you want to have your ducks all in a row.
While you are looking at the property, she is also, but with a little different eye. She is trying to look for items which could be a concern you need to know about or maybe a very special feature of the property that makes it unique.

She could also be trying to learn why the sellers are selling the property, thus learning about their motivation so that when you discuss the offer price, there will be more information to consider.
Karen has a presence on the internet which allows you to keep current as listings come on the market. It is the most updated site and linked directly to the Multiple Listing Service. Go to www.homesdatabase.com/karenbrown. You can input information so that you will be e-mailed new listings as they come on the market.
Karen helps you with the offer you will make. She will show you what the comparable properties in the area have sold for and when. She will also have you make a list of both the highlights and concerns about the various properties so that you are able to make your best decision.
There is a lot that happens behind the scenes once a contract has been accepted and you need Karen's professionalism and expertise to see you through to settlement.
Call or e-mail Karen for more info on Buying Your next Home. |
